How to Lock Wifi Router for Personel Use

Posted by mahesh  |  at  07:12

Lock The Wireless (Wi-Fi) Router

      It's important to secure your wireless internet and prevent people from pirating off of it by locking the router with a personal password. Here's how to do it.

     Become your own IT person with the instructions in these Howcast videos, which tell you how to check your internet speed, find an IP address, use WAP, lock a wireless router, expand a wireless network, optimize your web connection, choose an IP range, and more.

Step 1.
       Open your web browser. Type in the URL address that is specified your router's instruction manual. You should see a window pop up requesting a username and password.

Step 2.
       Use the username and password listed in your manual to sign in. The configuration page will appear.

Step 3.
       Click on administration. At the top you'll see a place to type in a password, and then a place to re-enter your password to confirm. Choose your network's name, called your SSID. Enable Wi-Fi protected access encryption, called WPA2 or WEP. Save your settings.

Step 4.
       Most wireless routers come with an option to enable Media Access Control -- or MAC address -- filtering, allowing you to specify that only computers that have a particular MAC address are allowed access to the wireless network. To enable this feature, refer to your router's manual.

How To Connect Laptop to TV for Video Games

How to Connect Laptop to Television For Enjoying Video Games.

         There are several ways to turn a big-screen TV into your new computer monitor and enjoy video games, web content, and photos like never before.

         It doesn't matter if you're a Mac or PC, we've got laptop buying and maintenance tips for everyone in these Howcast videos, like how to fix a stuck laptop key, how to clean a laptop screen, and how to connect your laptop to your television.

Step 1.
         First, connect a video cable – you've got several choices. For PC users, an easy option is an S-Video cable. Most PCs and digital televisions are equipped with an S-Video port.

Step 2.
         If you have an older HDTV, try a VGA cable, which produces better picture quality and works with both Macs and PCs. To connect, turn off your laptop and your TV. Find the trapezoid-shaped VGA outlets on the TV and on your laptop. Once you're connected, power everything back on.

Step 3.
         You can also connect with a DVI video cable. A DVI connection is a step above VGA in picture quality, but only newer computers and HDTVs come with DVI ports. Connect as with a VGA cable.

Step 4.
         If your HDTV doesn't have a DVI connector, use a cable that is HDMI on one end, and DVI on the other to connect to your laptop.

Step 5.
        Hook up the audio. After you've connected your laptop to the TV via video cable, connect the mini-to-RCA cable from your computer’s headphone jack to your TV.

Step 6.
        A final PC option is to go wireless, using a converter box and the software that comes with it. Using a VGA cable, plug the box into your TV and install the software onto your computer. The box will then convert your computer's VGA signal to the TV, and transfer both video and audio.

Step 7.
        If you have a PC, go to the Control Panel and adjust the display settings to accompany double display on both your monitor and TV set. Mac laptops should automatically adjust for double display. If yours doesn't, go to System Preferences, click on Display, and then Detect Displays.

Step 8.
        Click your TV's video source – usually a button called "input" or "TV/Video" on your remote – until your laptop comes up. You're set!

Search engine optimization SEO

   Swapping blog /blogger of titile can help to boost the blog traffic and boost the position of search results your blog will be stand at good ranking if maintain the tips of search engine optimization, seo .

    Your blog is a powerful tool for publishing blog content on regular basis can write articles on what do you want tell blog visitors.

      Generating clicks and leads

      Developing relations

      Awareness

      Demonstrating your expertise

    Despite the inherent "SEO value" of blogging, many blogs just aren't properly optimized for search, or aren't optimized to their fullest potential. As such, these blogs aren't working as hard as they could be for an organization from an SEO standpoint.

    When it comes to SEO, pagination implemented correctly maximizes "crawl depth" and makes your content easier for engines to access by reducing the number of clicks needed to reach deeper, archived pages. In addition, proper pagination is a scalable way to flow more (or a larger percentage) of PageRank to your archived content.

How to get more traffic to your blogspot blogs for new bloggers

Posted by mahesh  |  at  03:19

 Way to improve more traffic for your blogspot blogs :

     Link building is hard, but it's not the only way to make traffic gains in Google's search results.
When I first started SEO, building links wasn't my strong suit. Writing outreach emails terrified me, and I had little experience creating killer content. Instead, I focused on the easy wins.
     While off-page factors like links typically weigh more heavily than on-page efforts in Google's search results, SEOs today have a number of levers to pull in order to gain increased search traffic without ever building a link.
      For experienced SEOs, many of these are established practices, but even the most optimized sites can improve in at least one or more of these areas.
Best articles for visitors:
    According to the MozCast Feature Graph, 6% of Google search results contain In-depth articles. While this doesn't seem like a huge numbers, the articles that qualify can see a significant increase in traffic. Anecdotally, we've heard reports of traffic increasing up to 10% after inclusion.
Best articles

Improving blog speed:
   Improving site speed not only improves visitor satisfaction (see point #1) but it may also have a direct influence on your search rankings. In fact, site speed is one of the few ranking factors Google has confirmed.
   One of the interesting things we learned this year, with help from the folks at Zoompf, is that actual page load speed may be far less important than Time to First Byte (TTFB). TTFB is the amount of time it takes a server to first respond to a request.
   As important as page speed is for desktop search Google considers it even more important for mobile devices. Think about the last time you waited for a page to load on your cell phone with a weak signal.

SEO Tools:

     Aside from speed, if your website isn't configured properly for smartphones, it probably results in lower Google search results for mobile queries. Google confirms that smartphone errors may result in lower mobile rankings.
 What is a smartphone error? It could include:
  • Redirecting visitors to the wrong mobile URL
  • Embedding a video that doesn't play on a particular phone (Flash video on an iPhone, for example)
  • Pop-ups that aren't easily closed on mobile
  • Buttons or fonts that are too small on a mobile device
     Google recommends making your site responsive, but many of the top brands in the world, including Apple.com, don't have responsive sites. Regardless, a good mobile experience is imperative.

   Social annotations with Google+:

     When you share content on Facebook and Twitter, your network basically sees it only when they are looking at Facebook and Twitter.
    On the other hand, when you share content on Google+, your network can see it every time they search Google.
   Google's own research shows that users fixate on social annotations, even when presented with videos and other types of rich snippets.
The easiest way to take advantage of this is to expand your Google+ network and share good content regularly and often. Rand Fishkin elegantly explains how to use Google+ to appear in the top of Google results every time.
Additionally, content shared through Google+ often ranks in regular search results, visible to everyone on the web, regardless of their social connections.

   Snippet optimization:

    This goes back to basic meta tag and title tag optimization, but it's a good practice to keep in mind.
In the past two years, Google changed the maximum length of title tags so that it's no longer dependent on the number of characters, but on the number of pixels used, generally around 500 pixels in length. This keeps changing as Google tests new layouts.

The Suitable Solution for Direct10 Kilo Volts Supply

Posted by mahesh  |  at  02:22

      If you have an application, where you work with kilo volts and you need a suitable diode, we have a solution for you.

It´s not a quite common thing, to find a diode with a reverse voltage of more than 1000V in your “home-drawer stock”. But you develop a device, requiring a diode with a substantially higher reverse voltage and nothing suitable is by a hand …
The help is simple - use the DD1000 diode or in case of higher currents, choose a suitable type from the portfolio of High-voltage types from Diotec and send us your requirement. DD1000 features VRRM up to 10 000V, but in respect to its small dimensions and a construction, it´s suitable only for currents up to 20mA. This is sufficient for construction of various testers, voltage multipliers and similar. Should you require higher currents, many suitable types are available, which still maintain compact dimensions. For more powerful designs, it´s possible to use for example a cylinder type SI-A with a screw connection allowing for simple series connection.

SEO-Friendly Site URL Structure Steps for New bloggers

Posted by mahesh  |  at  09:18

    SEO-Friendly Site URL Structure

      Some people say there is no such thing as SEO-friendly URL structure. They claim search engines are perfectly capable of making sense of any type of URL and pretty much any URL structure. In most cases, the people who say this are web developers
      I’ve noticed sometimes web developers and SEOs live in two parallel universes, each with its own center of gravity. While web developers basically care about crawlability, site speed, and other technical things, SEOs are mostly focused on what constitutes their sacred grail: website rankings.
    What may be an OK site URL structure to a web dev, could be a totally SEO-unfriendly URL architecture to an SEO manager.

How to add navigation menu bar for blogger

Posted by mahesh  |  at  05:34

      A navigation or menu bar is a bar made up of tabs. “Behind” each of those tabs is a link -to a post page, a static page, a label page, to another website etc. Making navigation tabs is not that difficult. They are basically links with some styling added for visual appeal. While links are arranged vertically, navigation tabs are usually arranged horizontally. In this tutorial we will install the bar just below the header, a typical place for navigation bar. The bar will be added as a gadget via Page Elements page. The advantage of using a gadget is that if you want to remove it later on, it can be done easily without editing the HTML. But in order to do that, the template must have an Add A Gadget link thingy or widget container as I would call it, at that particular location. The is no such element. What do we do then? We create it. In our next tutorial we will learn how create Element just below header.

Add It To Blogger

1. Go to your Blogger Dashboard>> Layout>> and click on add a gadget .
2. Click Add A Gadget link below the header.
3. Scroll down the Add A Gadget window and select HTML/JavaScript.
4. Leave the title box empty.
5. Copy and paste the HTML code below into the content box.

high paying adsense alternatives for adsense rejected sites or blogs

Posted by mahesh  |  at  10:17

     Most of the new bloggers apply for Adsense many times and become disappointed after getting rejected by Adsense. But Adsense is not the only advertising network for publishers. There are a lot of ad networks that share decent amount of revenue to their publisher.

      To be honest, though there are a lot of ad networks but there is no real alternative of Adsense. Adsense is still the best Advertising Network. But I believe ‘Something is better than noting’.  That’s why I am going to share some Adsense alternatives.
If you are one of the them who didn’t get approved by Adsense or got banned by Adsense, then you can try the following networks. You can also use these networks along with Adsense to increase your revenue. Here is the list of Adsense Alternatives.

Maxwells inductance bridge solution and equation evaluation

Posted by mahesh  |  at  09:20

     The bridge circuit is used for medium inductance and can be arranged to yield results of considerable precision. As shown in figure 1, in the two arms, there are two pure resistances so that for balance relations, the phase balance depends on the remaining two arms. If a coil of unknown impedance Z1 is placed in one arm, then its positive phase angle ɸ1 can be compensated for in either of the following two ways:
  1. A known impedance with an equal positive phase angle may be used in either of the adjacent arms (so that ɸ1 = ɸ2 or ɸ1 = ɸ4), remaining two arms have zero phase angles (being pure resistances). Such a network is known as Maxwell’s a.c. bridge or L1/L4 bridge.
  2. Or an impedance with an equal negative phase angle (i.e. capacitance) may be used in opposite arm (so that ɸ1 + ɸ3 = 0). Such a network is known as Maxwell-Wien bridge or Maxwell’s L/C bridge.
Hence, we conclude that inductive impedance may be measured in terms of another inductive impedance (of equal time constant) in either adjacent arm (Maxwell Bridge) or the unknown inductive impedance may be measured in terms of a combination of resistance and capacitance (of equal time constant) in the opposite arm (Maxwell-Wien bridge). It is important, however, that in each case the time constants of the two impedance must be matched. As shown in figure 1.

Z1 = R1 + jX1 = R1 + jωL1…….unknown;

Z4 = R4 + jX4 = R4 + jωL4….…known;

R2,R4 = known pure resistances; D = detector
The inductance L4 is a variable self-inductance of constant resistance, its inductance being of the same order as L1. The bridge is balanced by varying L4 and one of the resistance R2 or R3. Alternatively, R2 and R3 can be kept constant and the resistance of one of the other two arms can be varied by connecting an additional resistance in that arm.
The balance condition is that Z1Z3 = Z2Z4
(R1 + jωL1)R3 = (R4 + jωL4)R2
Equation the real and imaginary parts on both sides, we have

Z1 = R1 + jX1 = R1 + jωL1…….unknown;
Z4 = R4 + jX4 = R4 + jωL4….…known;
R2,R4 = known pure resistances; D = detector
The inductance L4 is a variable self-inductance of constant resistance, its inductance being of the same order as L1. The bridge is balanced by varying L4 and one of the resistance R2 or R3. Wheatstone bridge ac circuit explanation and equation solution

Posted by mahesh  |  at  09:10

     Resistance can be measured by direct-current Wheatstone bridge having resistance in each arm. Inductance and capacitance can also be measured by a similar four-arm bridge, but instead or using a source of direct current alternating current is employed and galvanometer is replaced by a vibrating galvanometer (for commercial frequencies or by telephone detector if frequencies are higher 500 to 2000 Hz.). The general form of an ac bridge arms Z1, Z2, Z3 and Z4 are indicated as unspecified impedances and the detector is represented by headphones. During the balance condition in this ac bridge is reached when the detector response is zero or indicated a null. The condition for bridge balance requires the potential difference from A to C to zero.

At balance con condition,
EBA = EBC or I1Z1 = I2Z2 ———————–(i)
I1 = E/(Z1 + Z4), I2 = E/(Z2 + Z3)—————–(ii)
From equation (i) and (ii)
(Z1E)/(Z1+Z4) = (Z2E)/(Z2+Z3)
Or, Z1Z3 = Z2Z4——————————-(iii)

      Equation (iii) states that the product of impedances of one pair of opposite arms must equal the product of impedance of the other pair of opposite arms.
If the impedance are expressed in complex notation, i.e

.                                                              Z = Z<θ

Or, (Z1< θ1)(Z3< θ1) = (Z2< θ2)(Z4< θ4)

Z1Z3< θ1+ θ3 = Z2Z4< θ2 + θ4 ——————————-(iv)

From equation (iv), we can also write,

Z1Z3 = Z2Z4

The products of the magnitudes of the opposite arms must be equal.
1 + <θ3 = <θ2 + <θ4
The sum of the phase angles of the opposite arms must be equal.

Tips to improve or boost your android phone and smart phone battery life

Posted by mahesh  |  at  08:38

 Today's Android phones pack big bright screens and high-end features that suck plenty of power; here's how to squeeze the most juice out of your battery.

Top-notch Android smartphones like the Samsung Galaxy  at Amazon and HTC One (M8) are powerful, but unfortunately, they don't have endless battery life. In fact, many Android phone users would be happy to make it through a single day, hoping that a nightly recharge is sufficient.

     Sadly, it sometimes isn't. A number of factors have conspired to reduce gadget endurance over the past several years. Thinner designs with less room for batteries, larger and brighter screens, faster quad-core processors, more software that runs in the background, and power-hungry GPS radios all share responsibility. The move from 3G to 4G networks a few years ago—particularly of the LTE variety—has also taken its toll.

   But there's much more to poor battery life results than that. Fortunately, there's plenty you can do to stem the flow of juice from your Android device. To write this article, I used a Google Nexus 5, as it's running the latest version of Android 4.4 KitKat with no extra interface enhancements, but these tips should apply across just about any Android phone. Try these tips to extend your handset's battery life:

   See what's sucking the most juice. Navigate to Settings > Battery to see an organized breakdown of what's consuming your phone's battery. Applications and features will display in a descending list of battery hogs. If you see an application you barely use or a feature you never use, you'll want to uninstall the app or turn off the feature.
